Verdict :
After reading the referee report and viewing the live stream footage, we are of the opinion that beyond the administrative suspension of 1 match, an additional suspension of 1 match should be imposed.
The offence committed, namely "illegal check to the head", was clearly visible on the footage and was in accordance with the referee report. Such serious offences are particularly reprehensible because they endangered the physical integrity of Neuwied's opponent. This player was clearly hit but also hurt because of the impact on the visor of his helmet, and actually the offender may be lucky that the physical damage done was not too bad in the end. Otherwise, the verdict would have been even harsher.
