After reading the referee report and after carefully watching the footage made available to us, we are of the opinion that the standard 5-point penalty and 1 match suspension is insufficient and that player Loris DARQUES, is suspended 1 match additionally. It is abundantly clear to see how the involved player no.98 - Loris DARQUES - attacks the Diez-Limburg forward, after he was already pushed in the back by player no.27 of Liège Bulldogs, once again from behind, forcing him into the shifted goal. After this, some push and pull as well as tumult ensues as the stick of player No.66 of Diez Limburg ended up under the leg pads of the Bulldogs goalie. The footage then shows how player no.98 - Loris DARQUES - skates around a number of players and starts a fight ad random with player no.8 of Diez-Limburg who comes to take a look around and skates in without any aggression. Loris DARQUES ignores every order and even physical intervention from the linesman and continues to hit his opponent's head, while the linesman completely shields this player with his body. There is no mention in the referee report of any blows and/or injuries allegedly suffered by the linesman concerned, which we deeply regret.
