Penalty : GAME MISCONDUNCT – INTERFERENCE ON THE GOALKEEPER
Original verdict: After reading the referee report and watching the live stream footage of rbihf.tv, we are of the opinion that the standard penalty of 1 game suspension - 5 points, is insufficient.
Reviewed verdict: After reading Jordan PAULUS' defence and after reviewing the livestream footage in detail, we are of the opinion that the standard penalty of 5 points and 1 match suspension is sufficient.
We accept the fact that due to intervention by the Heerenveen defender, Jordan PAULUS was thrown off balance as he skated towards the Heerenveen goalie to follow his backhand shot to such an extent that he did not have the chance to make any movement to avoid the goalie. As a result, the skating towards the goalie was accidental.
The additional game suspension has been dismissed.
