BeNe League changes to CEHL

BeNe League changes to CEHL

Since the 2015-2016 season, the top ice hockey clubs from the Netherlands and Belgium have been playing together in various leagues under the BeNe League organization. For two seasons, the IRC (Inter Regio Cup) was played together with Clubs from Germany. Season 2023-2024  two German clubs  played as a full member in the BeNe League competition.

Due to the participation of other countries, the name BeNe League no longer covers the load. From the 2024-2025 season, the league will continue as the Central European Hockey League (CEHL).

This name gives more room for possible expansions or collaborations in the future.

The re-branding will be implemented before the start of the season.
